Here are the general arrangement plans. The original owners cabin and bunks at the stern are being kept in their original state. as guest quarters. Going forward the layout in the hold is open plan with a galley kitchen mid ships, leaving space for a utility room and 2nd head next to the engine room. The living space in the centre will have a new open tread staircase out onto the deck and large sliding roof lights. Two berth cabins a bathroom and head are in the front hold. and at the bow the small crew cabin will be turned into a study. I have settled for 6mm American White Oak faced ply for the wall linings with Oak trim and doors. The ceilings are painted softwood T&G and curve with the shape of the boat. The floors are to be random width Walnut planks with an area of carpet in the central living space, apart from the utility spaces and engine room which have aluminium chequerplate. The galley kitchen will be fully fitted with a granite worktops.

All of the electrical and H&C water services are concealed in trunking behind the new linings and bulkheads. The water services terminate in the utility room next to the kitchen which houses a new Kabola diesel boiler, calorifier, water pressure pump and 1500 ltr water tank. Electrical services terminate in a fuse cupboard in the corridor between the owners cabin and galley. There are two 240v ring main circuits supplied by shore hook up and the 24v circuits supplying lights and pumps are powered by four 250 ah batteries and an 85 ah battery charger located in the engine room or the 95 amp alternator. For total independence all that is required now is a diesel generator. and inverter. Black and grey water systems are separately tanked and pumped overboard
